可视化技术是大数据时代信息处理分析的重要手段之一。本课程将讲授数据可视化的基础理论,并辅以编程实验来指导学生上手掌握可视化相关的编程技术。 同时,本课程还将以国内外先进团队的可视化研究成果为例来剖析可视化项目的背景、技术和设计,开阔学生的视野,让学生了解数据可视化的前沿进展。 通过本课程,学生将了解如何用丰富的可视表达方法和技术来理解、处理和表示复杂的数据,掌握可视化的基本思想和主要方法, 配备一种可视地理解数据的思维,进而具备可视化设计和基本的前端实现能力。

Visualization is one of the most important methods of information processing and analysis in the era of big data. This course will teach the basic theories of data visualization, supplemented by programming experiments guiding students to master visualization-related programming techniques. Meanwhile, this course will introduce cases of visualization research of advanced teams worldwide, which aims to broaden students' horizons and provide them the vision of the frontier development of data visualization. Through this course, students will understand how to use a wealth of visual expression methods and techniques to understand, process and represent complex data, master the basic ideas and main methods of visualization, and be equipped with a visual understanding of data thinking, and then have capabilities of visual design and basic front-end implementation.
